Newsletter 16 - May ‘24
My dear Kvasidians,
I'm about to embark on an extended weekend trip to Malaga with some friends, and naturally, the suitcase is filled with games. Production is progressing smoothly, more on that below.
I can assure you that, after six months of testing, the prototype table my family and I have been using still looks amazing.
Next week, Dan will come to Denmark, and we'll visit Jyndbjerg Snedkeri together.
We still have some extra tables remaining. We had three inquiries about the red elm table, but without the extension plate, it wasn't suitable. If you're interested in acquiring one of the tables, please let us know.

What’s new
Half year birthday
On the 28th of May, it will officially be six months since I assembled my table and prepared for the photoshoot. I must admit, we haven't been gentle with the table. We don't use oilcloth or placemats for dinner. Additionally, we haven't been careful not to slide anything across it or avoid spilling food. Despite all this, it still looks amazing. With three chairs on each side, the legs could easily have been scratched, yet they are not. No game has come to harm either, as the table is solid and waterproof. Both a bottle of milk and a glass of red wine have been spilled, but nothing seeped through, nor did the table show any signs of stains.
My conclusion after six months is that this table will definitely stand the test of time. Obviously, it will get more worn as time goes by, but after six months, it still looks amazing. I will share more pictures on our facebook group. Join us to ask questions or get updated on production.

Production Update
We are nearing the completion of our production process. The only hiccup was a metal bar, sitting under the play area, which is currently out of stock. Our sub-supplier assures us that it will be back in stock by the end of June. This has resulted in a slight delay in our shipping schedule, for which we apologize.
Aside from this, the remainder of our production is progressing as planned. All other parts should be completed by the beginning of next week at the latest.
A few tables are still available, and we will begin promoting them by the end of June. If you'd like to secure a table before the general offer is made, please get in touch. We are offering them for €1,945 + VAT + Shipping, and purchasers will be included in our VIP program, receiving a 5% discount on all future crowdfunding campaigns. We add VAT afterwards to avoid you having to pay the 25% Danish VAT instead of your local VAT rate.

What’s coming next
June expectations
We'll finalize production, start shipping, and fulfill orders. We need to take another crack at the website because Squarespace doesn't support all the features we want to incorporate. Our face-to-face meeting was moved to bginning June to align on what the future holds, and we'll be visiting Jyndbjerg Snedkeri to follow up on the production.
Final thoughts
We are so close to getting the first round of tables out that I can hardly wait for it. I am super excited to see them in everyone's homes. There will be a second round, and both Dan and I are eager to get started on that as well.
In terms of games, I have returned to Lost Ruins of Arnak twice in the past month, and it has really grown on me. I have particularly enjoyed playing with the animals that provide extra draws. Riding the horse and handing out coffee is incredibly fun. I have also booked my trip to Spiel 24 and am eagerly anticipating attending as a citizen.
Till next time, have an awesome time,
Anders
