My dear Kvasidians,

Returning from a two-week vacation, I'm back with renewed energy, ensuring our tables reach individuals across Europe and the USA. I'm currently in discussions about selling the last oak table, but the red elm is still available for the right home.

Twelve out of fifteen tables have found their new homes, and we are receiving abundant positive feedback. We continue to address minor issues that arise, but overall, seeing our dream realized in homes around the world is overwhelming. This experience fuels the enthusiasm of both Dan and me as we prepare for our next production cycle.

If you're interested in the red elm table, please reach out via the provided email.

What’s new

Teething Problems

We are on an exciting journey and we appreciate everyone supporting us as well as all the feedback we have received so far. We want to acknowledge that there have been teething problems with our first round of production, which includes sending out extra bolts and adjusting brackets by yourself for the extension plate.

Sending out the extra bolts is an easy fix, but asking to move four brackets is a significant request for our customers. We are currently working on a video that helps explain how to do this.

On a positive note, the feedback from our assembly video has been very positive. You can view it in our Facebook group if you have not already joined.

Shipping and Packaging

We have shipped out 14 out of 16 tables. Only one oak table is not sold yet, and we still have the red elm table with the walnut stain. Two tables are on a long journey across the sea, with one going to the USA and another to New Zealand. We are super excited to send tables to all corners of the globe. It feels a bit surreal seeing pictures of tables in homes across Europe, and this helps energize Dan and me. Once the tables arrive in the USA and NZ, all tables will have found their homes. In Europe, we are waiting for someone to return from vacation before the last tables are in their rightful homes. We also recognize that there is an opportunity for improvement.
The process for packing the tables was not ideal, and we believe the packaging could be enhanced. This is a note to ourselves for future campaigns.

Campaign update

We have chosen to launch our next campaign on Gamefound due to two key reasons. Firstly, it offers an opportunity to spread the cost over smaller installments, an option only available on Gamefound. Secondly, we're eager to explore a different platform. Our primary focus will be on the Nordic countries of Europe and Germany. Rest assured, we will extend our support to those who are not within this region. This strategic choice is driven by our observation of significant traction and reasonable shipping costs in these areas. We plan to launch in October, with the campaign running for another three weeks, similar to our previous ventures. Stay tuned for more updates.

What’s coming next

August expectations

We will start setting up the campaign page this month and begin our pre-advertising in August. The approach will be similar to previous campaigns with Facebook advertising, so please keep an eye out for them and share when you see them. We aim to accomplish this without support from an agency, relying on our own capabilities using META. This presents an exciting learning curve that we hope to glean sufficient knowledge from and manage ourselves in the future.
Please let us know what you think of it if you stumble across our campaign.

Final thoughts

I am incredibly excited that the tables have finally found their new home. This is a big dream coming true. Receiving all the positive feedback makes it all worthwhile. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and helped us come this fare. We couldn't have accomplished this without you.

On a personal note, my most noteworthy gaming experience this month was playing My Little Scythe with my daughter and son. This was my daughter's first game with miniatures and a tad more strategy. She loved playing the United Bears and I'm sure it won't be long before we engage in another round.

My wife and I also bought a house, so August will also be about renovating and moving. I don't expect many games to be played. I do hope there will be room for a game or two though.

Till next time, have an awesome time,
Anders
